My name is Dave Brouwer, and I run Brouwer Home Renovations, a residential renovation company serving homeowners in Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, and the surrounding communities in Ontario. I specialize in larger interior renovation projects such as basement finishing, bathroom renovations, kitchen remodels, and full interior updates. My focus is on projects where thoughtful planning, quality craftsmanship, and attention to detail can make a meaningful difference in how a home functions and feels. Renovating a home is often a significant investment, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is always to deliver work that is built properly, looks great, and adds long-term value to the home.
Experience and Background
Before starting Brouwer Home Renovations, I worked as a helicopter pilot and spent 10 years in the operations control centre for Ontario’s air ambulance service. That role required managing complex situations, multitasking, and staying organized in a high-stakes environment where decisions had real consequences. Those same skills carry over into how I approach renovation projects today. Careful planning, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized throughout every stage of a project are essential to delivering successful renovations.

I believe that good renovations start with a clear plan and open communication with the homeowner. From there, I focus on completing the work with care and precision while keeping the job site organized and the homeowner informed about progress.
